Geri Halliwell has banned all food backstage at her gigs, video shoots and appearances. Geri, the former Spice Girl who Jonathan Ross described as looking like 'a Greek boy', is apparently determined that no food should inadvertently come her way - surviving, it would appear, on a diet that is entirely made up of cigarettes, air and yoga. Most recently, Geri was in Cologne to perform her latest single, Scream if You Wanna Go Faster, on German Top of the Pops. She gave strict instructions that no food should be allowed in her dressing room, so fearful was she that lardy food could stray into her mouth. Earlier this year, she insisted that junk food be barred from the set of the video for It's Raining Men, from the soundtrack to Bridget Jones's Diary, a film about a woman to whom pies are a joy. |
